Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Doctor of Optometry to join our growing team. As a practice centered around primary care, this is a full scope optometry office with the support to grow into specialties such as; specialty contact lenses, ocular disease, myopia control, dry eye, etc. This associate position includes the potential for ownership through a 10% increase in ghost equity per year that you work for the practice up to a total of 50%, with the option to purchase the other 50% at that time.

Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and ocular health conditions. Diagnose and treat various eye conditions and diseases, including but not limited to glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy. Prescribe and fit corrective lenses, including eyeglasses and contact lenses, based on patients' needs and preferences. Provide guidance and education to patients regarding proper eye care, contact lens wear, and lifestyle choices that impact eye health.

Collaborate with our team of opticians, technicians, and support staff to ensure exceptional patient care and satisfaction. Stay updated with the latest advancements and research in the field of optometry to provide the best possible care to patients. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in accordance with established protocols and regulations. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry school. Strong clinical skills with the ability to diagnose and treat a wide range of ocular conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with the team. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining accurate and organized patient records. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional patient care. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as per practice needs.

Benefits:

Starting salary of $140,000 with the ability to switch to production based pay once specific sales goals are met. Comprehensive benefits package, including PTO, medical and dental insurance.
