Waco Vision Source is passionate about private practice. We completed a 100% renovation in 2021 to bring even more of the best technology in eye care to our patients. Our practice has consistently outpaced national averages year after year, and our team is excited to continue our growth. While both of our doctors practice full scope optometry, Dr. Virden's interests lie in specialty/scleral contact lenses and preventive eyecare (especially AMD). Dr Sander's enjoys pediatrics and myopia management, and we are looking for an associate to join us long-term to continue to offer more patients the opportunity to join our practice. We will consider any specialty interests, or someone who just loves primary care. Quality of life is important to us, so pay and scheduling can be flexible. With pay based on percentage basis, it will be possible to make a 5 day/week salary in 2-3 days/week once patient base is established. This flexibility gives the opportunity to volunteer in our community, have a balanced family life, participate in our state or national optometric associations, or whatever your interest--the sky is the limit! A daily rate will be agreed upon until our new associate reaches the equivalent of 15%, then a percentage basis will be used.
